In chemical equations
A delta is represented by a triangle and means a change in something
For example
T
Means a change in temperature
When referring to water a delta is sediment deposits at the mouth of a river where the water diverges into branches

If I know the delta u are talking about , it is a mathematical meaning . Both meaning begin with a D just like the Greek letter , which should help u remember
