I would say C. It makes sense for Florence, Italy to rise because of new subjects, new ideas. Many new things were open to be talked and done about Florence because of new ideas.

Florence was an important city in the European Renaissance between the 14-17th Century and gave rise to some of the most accomplished artists in history.

In fact, many call Florence the birthplace of the Renaissance, a period where artists from the city expressed themselves and all kinds of subjects their paintings, sculptures ,drawings and even buildings and engineering.


One of the most famous man of this time is Leonardo Da Vinci, who worked for a long time in the city of Florence.
