In 1960 two sisters Theresa and Mary Thompson invented a solar tepee for a science-fair project and name it a Wigwarm playing off the Algonquian term for dwelling wigwam. Does the following text have an inappropriate shift in verb tense? Please help me. This may be an easy question but I have not done it in a while. Thank you if you help.

Yes, it does. When it says,"and name it a Wigwarm..." its supposed to be named since all the other verbs are in past tense.
