The park ranger stocks the children's fishing pond keeping a ratio of 4 sunfish to 3 perch. If he puts 300 sunfish into the pond, how many perch should be put into the pond?

First, I divided 300 by 4 and I got 75. I multiplied 75 by 3 and got 225 perch.

225 perch. You set up the equation 4/3=300/x. Then you cross multiply to get 4x=900, then you divide each side by 4 which makes x=225
