As a town gets smaller, the population of its high school decreases by 12% each year. The student body has 125 students now. In how many years will it have about 75 students? Use this equation 75=125(0.88)^x to solve the problem. Round the nearest year.

125(0.88)^1 = 110
125(0.88)^2 = 96.8
.
125(0.88)^4 = 74.96 = about 75
