Hello!

Explanation:

Slope:
(Y^2-Y^1)/(X^2-X^1)=(rise)/(run)

((-2)-6=-8)/(4-(-2)=4+2=6)=(-8)/(6)=(-8/2)/(6/2)=(-4)/(3)=(-4/2=-2)/(3)=-(2)/(3)

Slope is -2/3

Answer: -2/3

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

You can calculate slope by using the following equation: m=
\frac{ y_(2) -y_(1) }{x_(2)-x{1}}
m being the slope
So applying this to your problem, you would just divide -8 by 6, which gives you -1.33 as your slope.
