What is the rule for this sequence 5/6, 1 1/2, 2 1/6, 2 5/6?

PLEASE ANSWER!!!

okay ...so this sequence on simplifying goes like this....5/6 ; 9/6 ; 13/6 ; 17/6

so as it is clear denominator is being same and the numerator is increasing by 4 in successive terms ...so if first term is x/y then the other term will be x+4 / y
clearly 9=5+4
13=9+4
17=13+4
so the next term will be 21/6 ; 25/6........

When you want to find the rule, you usually subtract the 1st and 2nd sequence. 1 1/2 - 5/6 is 4/6. So the rule is to add by 4/6.
p.s - use simplest form and common denominators when subtracting
