since y=2
4x-10=2
4x=12
x=3
so the answer is A(3,2)

Answer: A. (3, 2)

Explanation:

The given system of equations:

y = 4x -10----------(1)\\\\ y = 2---------------(2)

Substitute the value of y from equation (2) in (1), we get

(2)=4x-10

Add 10 on both sides in this eqn , we get

2+10=4x-10+10\\\\ 12=4x

Divide both sides by 4 , we get

3=x

i.e. x=3 (3)

From (2) and (3), we get

The solution to the system of equations = (x,y)= (3,2)

Thus , the correct option is A.
