With meditation, you control your breathing. Which can reduce anxiety, and calm your mind. If you are having trouble falling asleep because of this problem, lay in bed and close your eyes. Breathe in as deep as you can and out slowly. This will calm you, hopefully taking your mind off of the problem. Meditation is a method of relaxation. Finding your center of peace, whether it's softly speaking religious chants, or just breathing deeply. Once you are fully relaxed, your body will fall into a relaxing sleep.
