It is pretty simple,

All you have to do is multiply 75,000 by 0.0145 to find the amount of Medicare taxes
75,000x0.0145=1,087.50

The answer is that Jennifer pays $1,087.50 for Medicare taxes

I hope this helps

Answer:

Find out the how much will she pay in Medicare taxes .

To prove

As given

Jennifer has a job that pays $75,000 per year.

Medicare taxes are 1.45% of earnings.

1.45% is written in the decimal form.

= (1.45)/(100)

= 0.0145

Total Medicare taxes Jennifer paid = 0.0145 Ă— 75,000

= $1087.5

Therefore the total Medicare taxes Jennifer paid is $ 1087.5 .
