slope=change in y/change in x

so
from (-4-2) to (-2,-10)
change in y is from -2 to -10, that is -8 change
change in x is from -4 to -2 which is 2 change

-8/2=-4

slope is -4

B

realk way
for
(x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
so
(-4,-2) and (-2,-10)
slope=(-10-(-2))/(-2-(-4))=(-10+2)/(-2+4)=-8/2=-4

B is answer
