Well if you notice betty spent 11$ on 2 hotdogs and a soda, now if you think about it 5+5 is 10 + 1 is 11$ so a hot dog is 5$ and a soda is 1$ so the cost of a hotdog and a soda is 6$ 5+1 = 6$
