Read the following lines from the poem“The Destruction of Sennacherib” by Lord Byron. The Assycame down like a wolf on the fold,And his cohorts were gleaming in purple and gold. And the sheen of their spears was like stars on the sea,When the blue wave rolls nightly on deep Galilee.

What is the rhyme scheme of the above lines?

The answer is aabb.

I you look at the poem, you can see in how its form, the line go underneath one another like this.

Example.

Kelly went outside to fold the clothes

Then she found some luxurious gold.

So basically, what makes it aabb because there are 4 lines and each line is just going under each line like the example above but only with two lines.

Hope that helps!!!
