Suppose you had 10 mol of NaCl and you dissolved it in exactly 3.00 kg of pure water (the solvent). What would be the molality of the solution in mol/kg?

Molality = number of moles of solute/mass of solvent in kg = 10/3 = 3.34 mol/kg.
