So I have to come up with a plot for school. I am having trouble with one part though. So far its about a small group of friends who have talked in a few years. They finally meet again at a mutual friends wedding and get trapped in an elevator together. They stopped talking because of a fight/situation they had.
My problem is that I don't know a good fight/situation friends could have that would lead them to stop talking. A situation would be preferred but any and all suggestions are helpful!!!
Thank you so much!!

Well if guys are involved, then what ushally makes guys stop talking are girls. Maybe a bad relationship, a triangle, or a rumor that went wrong. Something to make them stop talking but maybe less resentful now that they are older.
