⇒For perpendicular lines when their gradients are multiplied they have to give -1, in this case we are given a line with gradient
(1)/(2) meaning the gradient of the line perpendicular to it will be -2 since

-2*(1)/(2) =-1 this means that the gradient of the new line will be -2

⇒Now we have a point and gradient.

⇒And we know that the general equation for a straight line is y=mx+c

3=-2(0)+c\\3=c\\c=3

The equation of the line perpendicular to the given one is

y=-2x+3

GOODLUCK!!
