The mean
is the average of the numbers: a calculated "central" value of a set of numbers. To calculate: Just add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are. We can calculate the missing data by using this definition. We do as follows:
mean = 95 = (
103 + 99 + 90 + 86 + 105 + 96 + x ) / 7
x = 86
