The answer is 5 :
7 1/2 -21/2
15/2 -2 1/2(change to an improper fraction)
15/2 -5/2(subtract the numerators)
10/2 (reduce by 2)
You get an answer of 5

Here's what you do
1 2 1/2 to 2 5/10. Because the fractions have to have the same denominator.
2. Then subtract 7 and 2 like 7-2 .
3. Then subtract 5/10 and 5/10, 5/10-5/10
4. Ta da ! You have your answer (which is five)
