Eukraryotic cells seem to appear much larger and have a nucleus as opposed to the prokaryotes who do not have one .

Eukaryotic cells comprise membrane-bound organelles, such as the focus, while prokaryotic cells cannot. Differentiation in the cellular composition of prokaryotes and eukaryotes involves the appearance of mitochondria and chloroplasts, the cell wall, and the composition of chromosomal DNA. Many species of prokaryotes and eukaryotes comprise a composition outside the cell membrane described as the cell wall.
