4/8 is 1/2 if you multiply 1/4 x 2 you get 2/8 which also equals 1/4 which means that 6/8 is 0.75 because 8/8 is 1. You need to find the average between .5 = 1/2 and .75 = 3/4. That's your answer. Another way to do it is divide 5 divided by 8
