Simple...

you have: 3x-10=3(x+4)+2

Simplify it-->>

3x-10=3(x+4)+2

3x-10=3x+12+2

3x-10=3x+14

3x-10=3x+14
-3x -3x

-10=14

We can immediately see there is no solution. (D)

Thus, your answer.
