What is m∠5? ... In the figure, a ‖ b and m∠1 = 34°. ... ask you to find the opposite sides (6 and 2) just do 180-34 But for now the answer is 34.

Angle 2 is equal to 180 degrees minus 34 degrees which is equal to 146 degrees.
