It is given that the segment TR is equal to the segment VR, so segment VS is also equal to segment TS
VS = TS
39 = 6x – 3
39 + 3 = 6x
42 = 6x
X = 7
TV = 2(VR)
TV = 2 ( 2(7) + 5)
TV = 38 units
