x is the age of Rutledge,so,
25% of 104=x
25/100×104=x
0.25×104=x
26=×
x=26
Therefore,age of Rutledge is 26 years

Answer:

Rutledge's age was
26\ years

Explanation:

Let

x-------> Edward Rutledge's age

y------> Benjamin Franklin's age

we know that

25\%=(25)/(100)=0.25

x=0.25(104)

x=26\ years
