Asthma is a chronic condition that affects a person's ability to breathe. Every year many people are rushed to the hospital because of severe asthma episodes. Air quality is a major trigger for asthma events in children aged 5 - 14. On a daily basis NYC posts air quality information to inform the city residents if it is a high risk day for asthma. Below you will find information summarizing persistent asthma in children aged 5 - 14 in NYC during 2013-2014. Pretend you are on a committee to create an action plan to improve air quality in NYC and use the data presented to select the target borough and neighborhood to begin your plan. Provide evidence to support your response.

Answer:

By using electric appliances.

Step-by-step explanation:

By reducing the use of appliances that run with fuels such as stoves, fireplaces, gas or kerosene heaters, and oil and gas furnaces etc. These appliances produces nitrogen dioxide gas which is responsible for the pollution of air and leads to asthma disease. So as a committee member I will suggest to reduce the air pollution by using electric appliances instead of fuel appliance because electric appliances does not produce nitrogen dioxide gas.
