What is one nation that you expect to be most like the way it was in 1648 in terms of the ethnicity of its people, national boundaries, language, and culture? How might this relate to its experience with foreign empires? Explain.

Hmmm. I would say middle eastern countries have not had many fluctuation in their cultures and borders. in terms of Europe I would say Spain, as they are still a major catholic country and have never expanded from their national borders
