rewrite the equation in exponential form, use the definition of a log and then simplify and you should get x= e^4/12 or 4.55

Answer:

x = 4.55.

Explanation:

Given : ln 3 + ln (4x) = 4.

To find : Solve round your answer to the nearest hundredth.

Solution : We have given that

ln 3 + ln (4x) = 4.

By the logarithm rule : ln a + ln b = ln (ab).

Then,

ln 3 + ln (4x) = ln (3 * 4x )

ln 3 + ln (4x) = ln (12 x )

Then ,

ln (12 x ) = 4

Taking exponential both side

12x =
e^(4).

12 x = 54.59.

12 x = 54 .59

On dividing by 12 both sides

x = 4.55.

Therefore, x = 4.55.
