The ratios are NOT proportional. If you cross multiply them you would get
50 = 64 which is not true. This proves that they are not proportional.

They are proportional.
5/8 = 50/80
8/10 = 64/80
So off course 8/10 = 64/80 > 5/8 = 50/80
