What is the difference between a jar of hydrogen and oxygen and a jar of water vapor

Water vapour is made up of H2O molecules, where the hydrogen and oxygen atoms have covalent bonds that join them. A jar of hydrogen and oxygen just has oxygen molecules and hydrogen molecules, which are separate.
