Isolate the variable by dividing each side by factors that don’t contain the variable.

This is how i do it

(you just rearrange the number so the you can add the x's together)

15 + -5 = -2x + 3x

15 + -5 = 10

-2x + 3x = 1x or X

so you answer is:

X = 10
