Find a parametrization of the vertical line passing through the point (−9, −3, 9) using t=z as a parameter.

\mathbf x(t)=\langle -9,-3,t\rangle

should do it. The
x and
y coordinates of any point on the line are fixed, and since only the
z coordinate changes, this line is vertical. And of course, when
t=9, the line passes through the point
(-9,-3,9).
