25%=.25
2(divided by).25=8
Another way to think of this is
25% is equal to 1/4 (1 divided by 4)
so
2=(1/4)xX
X/4=2
X=2*4
X=8
X is the total number of pencils in the backpack

I think it's 25x4=100 and 100 divided by 4= 25. Every 2 pencils = 25% so you need 2 4 times.2x4=8. 8 is your answer
