It would be A.) if an animal is a dog, then it has a tail because you can easily cross out each other answer choice. For example, if an animal has a tail, then it is a dog. it is not saying that every animal that has a tail is a dog. and then B and D are the opposite of the statement

A conditional statement is:
if p, then q.

so.... in the sentence...

-All dogs is the hypothesis
-Have tails is the conclusion.

The answer is:
A) if an animal is a dog, then it has a tail.
