The height of the triangle is 300 ft and the base is 400 ft. So you use the formula for the area of a triangle because you are covering the triangle. The formula is A = 1/2bh. So A = 1/2 300 * 400. 300 * 400 is 120,000. Multiply 120,000 by 1/2 and you get 60,000. Now that you have the area, multiply it by .60 to find how much it costs. 60,000 * .60 = 36,000.

The answer is A.

In this triangle, we know base & perpendicular are 300 & 400 'cause 500 is the longest side which is hypotenuse

Now, Area of a triangle = ab/2 = (300)(400)/2 = 120000/2 = 60000

As cost for 1 ft² = $0.60
cost for 60000 ft² = 60000 * 0.60 = $36000

In short, Your Answer would be Option A

Hope this helps!
