The correct answer is option B

The temperature could have been too cold for some of the organisms without greenhouse effect.

The average temperature of the earth could have been much lower than what is today.

It is the green house effect that the temperature is optimum for the survival of all the organism otherwise only that organism could have survived who can live at lower temperatures.
