The answer is true. I'm going to tell you why it is true. When a person is exposed to somebody else with HIV, that person should go get checked immediately. If you wait too long, the virus could turn into AIDS. AIDS is a term to describe the condition in which the disease eats away at all of your necessary organs and even your brain. A lot of people walk around with HIV and don't even know it. So, if you live an area where there's an outbreak of HIV, you should probably go get checked as soon as possible.
