the x intercept is where the line crosses the x axis or where y=0
assuming yo means -6x-3y=18
set y to 0
-6x-3(0)=18
-6x+0=18
-6x=18
divde both sidesb y-6
x=-3
the x intercept is x=-3
if it was -6x-3y=-18, then the x intercept would be x=3

-6x - 3y - 18
To find the x-intercept, plug in 0 for y and solve for x.
-6x - 3(0) - 18
Multiply 3 and 0
-6x - 18
Add 18 to each side
-6x = 18
Divide each side by -6
Your final answer is x = -3
