To solve this problem you have to multiply fractions. Since the chef has 8 cups of berries and he has 2/3 cups right now, you have to multiply 8 * 2/3. After you multiply you should get 5 .5 is the amounts of deserts you can make.

So, 8 * 2/3 is equal to 5 , you can make 5 deserts !
