Slope between (2, 5) and (0, -4), x₁ = 2, y₁ = 5 x₂ = 0, y₂ = -4
Slope = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁) = (-4 - 5) / (0 - 2) = -9/-2 =9/2 = 4.5
Slope = 9/2 = 4.5
Hope this helps.
