Hence here we are given statement as:

driving is difficult if the weather is stormy.

Hence using Law of detachment we have:

Statement 1: if the weather is stormy then driving is difficult.

Statement 2: the weather is stormy

conclusion: Driving is difficult

The law of detachment states that if two statements p and q are true, therefore, the third statement is also true. Given the two statements above: Driving is difficult if the weather is stormy, and driving is difficult, therefore, the third statement would be is: if the weather is stormy, driving is difficult.
