Let f(x)=8xf(x)=8x .

What function represents a transformation of f(x)f(x) by a vertical stretch with factor 2?

g(x)=2⋅8xg(x)=2·8x

g(x)=12⋅8xg(x)=12·8x

g(x)=812xg(x)=812x

g(x)=82x

f(x)=8x
a verteical anything of a factor of m means multiply the whole function by m

so a vertical stretch of a factor of 2 means times 2 by the whole function
g(x)=2*8x
g(x)=16x

it would be the first option
