Peru is cool and close to cold climate most of the time. There tend to be rainy showers a lot. So there are many rain forest areas.

The climate of Peru is
tropical
. It has a large variety of climate and weather, including deserts and mountain areas, but it is mostly subtropical climate with rainforests.
