A bowling ball has a mass of 5 kg. What happens to its momentum when its speed increases from 1 m/s to 2 m/s?

A) The initial momentum is 5 kg"m/s, and the final momentum is 10 kg"m/s.

B) The initial momentum is 5 kg"m/s, and the final momentum is 3"kg m/s.

C) The initial momentum is 5 kg"m/s, and the final momentum is 7 kg"m/s.

D) The initial momentum is 5 kg"m/s, and the final momentum is 20 kg"m/s.

(I think this is Physics not sure)

The linear momentum is given by
mv. Here
m is mass
v is velocity of the body. Given mass and velocities as
m=5,v_i=1,v_f=2

Initial momentum is
mv_i=5*1=5 and final momentum is
mv_f=5*2=10.

The correct answer is (A)
