The slope of line that is perpendicular to another line, has a slope of negative reciprocal of the given line.

So the slope of the perpendicular line to y = 1/4x + 4 is -4

To solve for the y intercept

Y = mx + b

6 = (-4)(-2) + b

B = 14

So the answer is

Y = -4x + 14
