Let one of the numbers be x.

The other number is 14 less than twice the other:

Twice the number = 2x

14 less than twice =2x - 14

So one of the number is x, and the other is 2x - 14

Since the sum is 67.

x + 2x - 14 = 67

3x - 14 = 67

3x = 67 + 14

3x = 81

x = 81/3

x = 27

Recall the two numbers are, x and 2x - 14

x = 27

2x - 14 = 2*27 - 14 = 54 - 14 = 40

So the two numbers are 27 and 40.

Hope this helps.

Let, first number = x
Second number = 2x - 14

It is given that, x+2x-14 = 67
3x = 67+14
x = 81/3
x = 27
Also, (2x-14) = 2(27)-14 = 54-14 = 40

In short, Your Numbers would be 27 and 40

Hope this helps!
