Simplifying
6x + 4x = 180

Combine like terms: 6x + 4x = 10x
10x = 180

Solving
10x = 180

Solving for variable 'x'.

Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.

Divide each side by '10'.
x = 18

Simplifying
x = 18
