to solve this, we need to simply multiply across

you have 5/6 * 5/9 so you need to do 5 * 5 , which is 25, and 6 * 9 , which is 54.
you now have the fraction 25/54

we know 5 * 5 is 25, and 1 * 25 is 25. we also know that 54 is not divisible by 5.
the fraction 25/54 is in its simplest form
