2(x + 7) - 1 > 15 3(x + 2) < 2x + 7
2x + 14 - 1 > 15 3x + 6 < 2x + 7
2x + 13 > 15 3x - 2x < 7 - 6
2x > 15 - 13 x < 1
2x > 2
x > 2/2
x > 1
so, x > 1 OR x < 1.....all real numbers except 1
