PQ=√(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²
=√(4-1)²+(8-2)²
=√(3)²+(6)²
=√9+36
=√45
=3√5
=3*2.236
=6.708
=6.79.

distance = sqrt (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2
(1,2)...x1 and y1
(4,8)...x2 and y2
now we sub
distance = sqrt (4 - 1)^2 + (8 - 2)^2
distance = sqrt (3^2 + 6^2)
distance = sqrt (9 + 36)
distance = sqrt (45)
distance = 6.7 <===
