I need help simplifying -11+5b+6-2b

(-11)+[5b]+(6)+[-2b]
Take the like terms, for example, -2b and 5b since they share the variable b, and add them together (3b). Then take the other terms, 6 and -11, and add them together [-5]. The terms with a variable usually go first in the equation, so your equation would be:
3b+-5 or 3b+(-5)

you take 5b and -2b which will make: 3b
then combine -11 and 6 to get: -5
full answer: 3b-5
